Overview
The Ridgefield Amateur Hockey Association (RAHA) operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth sports organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
Our goal is to provide a fair, competitive, and enriching hockey experience for players and families while upholding the highest standards of conduct, safety, and transparency.
We follow policies and procedures that ensure every decision, from player development to financial management, reflects our mission, values, and commitment to the Ridgefield community.

Board of Directors
RAHA’s Board of Directors oversees all program operations, finances, and strategic planning. Board members are elected volunteers who serve defined terms and meet regularly throughout the year.
Responsibilities include:
- Establishing club policies and strategic goals
- Approving budgets and overseeing financial integrity
- Appointing coaching staff and program directors
- Ensuring compliance with USA Hockey and CHC regulations
Policies & Compliance
RAHA is committed to maintaining clear, accessible policies for all members. Below is a summary of our key governance policies, each designed to promote ethical conduct and operational integrity.
Attendance & Commitment Policy
Defines expectations for player participation, practice attendance, and communication with coaches. Ensures fairness to teammates and fosters accountability across all age levels.
Conflict of Interest Policy
Requires all Board members, coaches, and volunteers to disclose potential conflicts and act solely in the best interests of RAHA and its players.
Document Retention Policy
Outlines procedures for maintaining organizational records, financial documents, and communications in compliance with nonprofit recordkeeping standards.
Whistleblower Policy
Encourages members to report unethical or inappropriate conduct without fear of retaliation, ensuring a safe environment for all participants.
Bylaws
