Mite Development (8U)
The first step in becoming a Ridgefield Lion.
RAHA’s Mite Development Program introduces young players (ages 6–8) to competitive hockey in a fun, skill-building environment. Our goal is to help players transition from learn-to-skate programs into structured team play, setting the foundation for future success.
Program Highlights
- League: CHC, plus MAMA (Mid-Atlantic Mite Association) Full-Ice League opportunity for final-year mites
- Season: Late August – March
- Practices: 2 practices per week
- Games: 1-2 per weekend (one home, one away)
- Focus Areas: Skating fundamentals, teamwork, positioning, game awareness

Girls Hockey
